Nicole, Oli & Roxy (from 04.01.19):
This 1.5 hour winter walk is ideal for a short excursion in the snow and sun. The starting point of the winter hiking trail is right next to the Gurnigel Berghaus. Accompanied by magnificent views of the Gantrisch mountain range, the trail continues in a south-westerly direction past the foot of the Selibüel hill. The peaks of Ochse, Bürgle, Gantrisch and Nüneneflue form the impressive mountain scenery. A short descent leads to the Wasserscheidi, the actual pass crossing of the Gurnigel. The views extend from the Sensegraben to Lake Thun. After crossing the road, the path continues downhill to Stiereberg. From there, a slight counterslope leads back to the Gurnigel Berghaus.
