Lake Neuchâtel shore

We started from the parking lot Colombier Littorail. In winter, weekdays along the shores of Lake Neuchâtel, there are only locals with their dogs. Although leashes are compulsory, the locals do not keep them. On certain stretches of beach, dogs are prohibited from 1 May to 30 September. Therefore I recommend to do this route in winter. The many beautiful beach sections with pebbles or sand have a special charm. I felt like on holiday. From Neuchâtel-Ouest on I like the special buildings between the lake and the road. The public transport is very good and accessible everywhere. So the route could also be adapted as you like.
