Saxets with ditumba

We drive by car to Saxeten BE. There you will find a free parking lot. In the rest. Pintli sledges can be rented for Fr.5. From the parking lot I start with dog and sledge uphill. The way consists of a prepared road, where no cars drive. We walk past the last farms, the path first goes uphill in a very slight gradient, along the stream. Before the steeper ascent comes, we meet the "Hexenbeizli" on the right side of the path. Last chance to fortify yourself with hot and cold drinks and small meals.

Now follows the actual rise. The way goes in curves more or less steeply to the top. Sweating is guaranteed.

We march up the 4km long, well-prepared track along the side of the road to Nessleren. Hiking time approx. 1h Once at the top we enjoy the view and drive back to the car at a fast pace.

The trail is maintained by the IG Saxeten (Intereße Gemeinschaft). At the parking lot there is a big milk can, where you can deposit a donation.

Also in summer Saxeten is certainly worth a trip. Saxeten can also be reached by bus from Interlaken.
