Winter fun Hütten-Rossberg-Schindellegi with sledging

Today we start our adventure in perfect weather conditions. In huts (see map below Switzerland Mobile) we start our winter fun from the parking lot to the Gasthaus Rossberg and from there with sleds to Schindellegi.

The way from the huts is very shady, so good shoes are recommended because of the danger of slipping. Along the Örischwandbach to Ober Oerischwand we are in the shade. But the short ascent helps not to freeze at - 4 degrees. From Ober Oerischwand the sun shines towards us and we enjoy this wonderful panorama towards Zurich, high above Lake Zurich. In the Gasthaus Rossberg we are served by cordial hosts, even Kaya gets her extra bowl in the restaurant (which is also open in the evening - night sledging ;-) ). There are also a few sledges available for short term rent. We have brought our sleds ourselves and after a warming soup we go to the starting point. Attention: the track is also used (not very much but still watch out for oncoming traffic). Our "sled dog" Kaya enjoys this easily falling distance (approx. 3 km) in full trains and in between we stop to enjoy this wonderful view.

A great and versatile excursion (also for afternoon trippers), even in fog promising to get some sunshine again.
