Zügenhüttli Path

The Madrisa Railway takes you from Klosters Dorf up to the Saaseralp in just over 10 minutes. The winter hiking trail starts from the Saaseralp and leads past the Sagenturm tower to Untersäss and from there, with a view of the Silvrettamassiv, towards Zügenhüttli. The well-maintained path is easy to walk on with good winter footwear. Crossing the Büelen and passing below the Züg, winter hikers reach the top station of the Zügenhüttlisessel after a good hour. Here a cosy pub with snacks or barbecues and warm drinks on the sunny terrace invites you to linger. After a rest, you then take the same route back to the Madrisa mountain station and from there down into the valley to Klosters.
