Burgdorf Castle Youth Hostel

Burgdorf Castle, an architectural monument of national importance, has stood on the castle rock on the River Emme for more than 800 years. After the castle had experienced a lot, it became a unique place of experience for the first time in spring 2020, a "castle for everyone" and was thus completely opened to the public. The museum was joined by a wedding room, our youth hostel and a restaurant. You can get married, celebrate, marvel, sleep and learn in the castle, which was greatly extended by the Zähringers around the year 1200. History can be experienced up close and the feeling of being in the film "Night in the Museum" can sometimes arise.
