Salome, Reto and Tanja with Kesh (from 03.05.20):

In the village of Leuzigen there are signposts to the Rhododendron Park. There are parking possibilities at the edge of the forest. Spring is the best time to see the blossoming flowers. Before visiting the park, we go for a walk in the forest. We are mostly in the canton of Solothurn, where linen is compulsory from April 1 to July 31. We start in the direction of the quarry of Lüterkofen - Ichertswil. Various deciduous trees and conifers make this forest very varied. Above Lüterkofen to Lohn we hike along the edge of the forest with a beautiful view into the Lower Emmen Valley. At Lohn we hike back towards Leuzigen. The small lattice bridge can be easily bypassed if necessary. The Rhododenron Park attracts many visitors on weekends in spring. During the week, however, there is usually not much activity.
