Rheinfelden - sunny mountain - mire

We parked at the train station Rheinfelden. The route is very varied from the terrain, woods and meadows alternate.

During the ascent to the Sonnenberg we discovered several barbecue spots and the Sonnenbergturm is also good for "not free from giddiness" (donation box at the entrance).

It was very narrow, but we left the dogs downstairs. On Sundays there is often a kiosk open and it has a playground. Think it will be full up there, especially in good weather

The routes down we were thankful for our good shoes, because often moss covered stones.

A nice tour in not too warm weather with good public transport connection.

And if the KM is not enough for you, you can walk back on the Rhine. :-)
