Located in the middle of central Switzerland, perfect for a break from everyday life. Whether excitement, games or relaxation, there is something for everyone. On a discovery tour Sattel-Hochstuckli - the family mountain!

Livia with Kaya and Nathalie with Indira (from 20.06.19):

The weather forecast is not very promising, so we meet already for the first ascent at 08.30 a.m. (dogs cost Chf 5.- round trip).

The ascent alone is worth an experience, because the rotating gondola with its panorama windows offers a wonderful view.

It is still quiet on the Mostelberg. The employees are in the process of putting the toboggan run and the bouncy castle into operation. A great meeting place for the whole family!

Our trail (trail no.4 / UMweg) leads past the start of the 374m suspension bridge. Certainly a great feeling, but with a dog over the iron bars perhaps rather unsuitable (there are paw guards at the top station, but they too must be trained).

We walk on, past the Herrenboden mountain inn to the bridge, where our two four-legged friends can refresh themselves a little.

The way through the bear-catching forest is a real pain in the legs and we are grateful that the temperatures are not too high.

Again and again we cross cow pastures, but these were not occupied (except between Banegg and Hochstuckli, but there is an extra barrier).

Despite not optimal weather conditions, we enjoy the wonderful view of the Mythen region. Actually we wanted to return via Engelstock, but the black clouds in the background warn us and so we walk via Mostelegg back to the mountain inn Mostelberg.

As if the staff members maintain contacts up to Peter with warm hospitality, the pouring rain starts punctually when entering the restaurant.

The food was excellent and we can warmly recommend a trip to this region (especially with family).
