Stalden to Gampel (VS)

We started at the church in Stalden and walked over the "Planetenweg" and the "Weg des Wassers" towards Visp. From there we have tackled the easy ascent to Ausserberg. At Ausserberg we followed the "Kulturweg" (www.derkulturweg.ch) to Raron, which leads us through the beautiful Rhone valley and through beautiful vineyards. After Raron we walked along the Rhone to Gampel. The trail is well accessible for all two- and four-legged friends of all constitutions and ages. Cooling down is provided in the fountains and the Rhone which accompanies us on most parts of the way. Although we did not stop anywhere, and we enjoyed our lunch at one of the many beautifully arranged pick-nick places, there are numerous restaurants that invite you to take a break.
