Liberated feet not only inspire the senses, they are also good for health. Walking barefoot allows for fatigue-free walking, even on ascending paths in the mountains. The "Kitzelpfad" Kneipp path was built around the Härzlisee as early as 2001. This barefoot hiking trail was opened on 7 August 2016 to mark the 15th anniversary of the Härzlisee.

Dogs are allowed to refresh themselves in the Härzlisee, but leashes are compulsory everywhere.

The Barefoot Hiking Trail starts at the Hüttismatt and follows an existing hiking trail up towards the Brunnihütte. After half of the 1000 m stretch, the new barefoot hiking trail branches off onto the track of the existing toboggan run.

In addition to the tickling trail at Härzlisee, there is also a water landscape where children can really let off steam. Right next to it are also the fireplaces.

Now you don't necessarily have to take the chairlift to the Kitzelpfad, but you can already start at the Ristis mountain station on the barefoot hiking trail up to the Kitzelpfad around the Herzlisee.

Warning: The barefoot hiking trail is a real hiking trail. For safety reasons, always carry your shoes with you and pay attention to the ground. Thorns, insects, roots or pointed stones can cause injuries. People with certain illnesses, such as diabetes, vascular diseases or insect allergies should pay particular attention or refrain from walking without shoes altogether. Walking is at your own risk. Brunni lifts corporation declines any liability.
