Rankweil-St.Peterzell

This section of the Swiss Jacob's Way connects the starting point in Rankweil in Vorarlberg with St. Peterzell on the St. Gallen/Appenzell Jacob's Way. The trail first leads us through the flat Vorarlberg/St. Gallen Rhine plain before climbing up to the Appenzellerland. Via Innerrhoden (Appenzell) and Ausserrhoden (Urnäsch) we come to St. Peterzell, which then again belongs to the canton of St. Gallen. Scenic beauty and beautiful, historic architecture characterise this section of the Way of St. James.
