Livia with Kaya (from 18.06.19):
The weather forecast promises high temperatures today, so we seek out the cool wet early in the morning.
We park the car directly at the shooting range in Horgen (free of charge until 15 hours). If it is not closed, the circular trail can be started parallel to the shooting range, otherwise follow the hiking signpost.
The gravel path is very wide and up to the waterfall (approx. 30 minutes) ideal also with prams. Again and again small paths offer direct access to the stream so that Kaya can always refresh itself wonderfully.
The highlight is of course the waterfall. Here Kaya enjoys the right depth so that she can swim a few rounds.
There are resting places everywhere and there are also fireplaces.
From this place the path leads steeply up via lattice stairs. Although there are extra steps for dogs, caution is advised here. Then a short walk over the bridge and a pleasant forest path leads us out of the ravine to the highest point with a view of Lake Zurich.
Continuing along the forest path and Aabach, the way back leads us back to the starting point.
