Balmberg-Röti

A hot day has been forecast for today, so we start our tour early in the morning at 04.30 in order not to miss the sunrise at 06.27. According to Schweiz Mobil it takes 1h 20 min to reach the summit "Röti". Getting up early was definitely worth it! The view is magnificent and we will definitely come again!

We start at the rope park on the Balmberg where we also parked immediately and follow the signposts towards Röti.

After a short time, a steep ascent begins. But the wonderful panorama at the top is worth the effort. We only take a short break and then make our way to the Balmfluehchöpfli vantage point where another wonderful panorama awaits us. With good visibility, you can see over the entire Alpine chain to the Säntis and over to Mont Blanc.

Again a short rest, then we continue towards Nesselboden where the middle station of the gondola to Weissenstein is located. As the weather is still nice, we decide to continue on foot. From Nesselboden follows another steep ascent. Whoever wants to can stop at the top at the Rest. Sennhaus or at the Hotel Weissenstein. Since there are already too many people, we look for a quiet place and take a longer break. Afterwards we take the easier way back to Balmberg. Also only the rope park Balmberg, is a great destination for young and old.
