Charmey to Gruyère

We park our car in Bulle at the station. From there we take the bus to Charmey. In Charmey we hike to the first highlight of this varied hike, the suspension bridge, which connects the peninsula presque'ile with the shore of Lac de Montsalvens. At the western end, the lake is dammed by the dam. Here we have a view down the gorge. The dam wants to pass Kesh rather quickly. The wild gorge of the Jaunbach is very spectacular. We cross small seesaw bridges and dark tunnels. While walking through Broc we smell the fine scent of the chocolate factory Cailler - Kesh prefers to sniff game and bitch scent. In Broc we do not take the hiking trail, because it leads through herds of cows. At the Sarine we cross a beautiful wooden bridge. Then we climb up to the Gruyères Castle. There are quite a lot of tourists in the small town. In Gruyères we take the train back to Bulle.
