Reto with Tanja and Kesh :

We park our car at the train station on a Park and Rail parking lot. Opposite the station has a restaurant. We start walking through the village. Outside the village, a steep and partly slippery descent leads to the spectacular natural beauty: the waterfalls "Cascade du Dard". Depending on the water level, the water rushes quietly or raging over the 20 meter high rock edge down into the gorge that begins here. An enchanted and untouched place to stay. And with a little luck, the rare kingfisher can be spotted here. We continue walking along the river Le Nozon through forest over wooden bridges, later we climb up the trail and walk back towards Croy. At the village we pass a kind of bise with flowering bushes. We were there on a Monday and met almost no one. I think on weekends or school vacations it will be different. Especially in hot weather it is perfect, the dog can cool practically all the way and in the gorge and in the forest it is pleasantly cool.
