There is both a post bus stop and a parking lot at the chapel in Geimen. From there, the hiking trail leads uphill towards Blatten. Most of the time, the trail follows the Chelchbach stream, which carries the meltwater from the Belalp down into the valley in spring.
If you are traveling with children, the Hexenkessel is waiting for you in Blatten - a great adventure playground with cool play equipment and a small pond that invites you to play in the water. Blatten is also the starting point for excursions to Belalp and other hiking trails in all directions.
Our hiking trail leads south back down to Geimen. After a first somewhat steep section, we enter a magical world. The Blindtälli has plenty to offer nature lovers: the small mountain stream Bruchji is constantly finding its way through the gorge, creating fantastic rock formations and some wonderful small but beautiful waterfalls. After the first descent, the terrain soon becomes flatter and invites you to linger. Several picnic areas with and without barbecues are perfect for one or even several breaks in between.
At the exit of the small valley is the parking lot in Geimen with a post bus stop.
