Perrefitte gorge

A narrow path winds along the La Chalière stream, past a small staircase, over wooden bridges and through a lush forest that enchants with its amazing colors.

Just a few minutes from Moutier, a special natural experience begins at the end of the village in the direction of Souboz: the Gorges de Perrefitte. With their romantic yet wild charm, the gorges invite you to take a pleasant hike through the wooded hills. Natural paths, lined with wooden steps and footbridges, lead through the mysterious gorge up to the wooded pastures at higher altitudes.

The Gorges de Perrefitte are full of mystical atmosphere - accompanied by the gentle lapping of the water and the cool, fresh air, which promises relaxation even on hot days. An excursion that will delight nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet in equal measure.

Instead of walking back along the same path through the gorge, we opted for the route via the Pâturage de Moron - a welcome change. In the summer months, the lush pastures are traditionally farmed (cows).

Good to know: There are metal footbridges and stairs, which are only suitable for experienced dogs (don't forget booties).
