Manuela with Hazel, Grisu and Neo (from 24.08.19):
The Roman trail from Näfels to Mühlehorn is a good path for two- and four-legged friends. The route is very varied. It leads over meadows, along paths, through forests, along roads and gravel paths. From time to time you will come across a little stream where the dogs can quench their thirst. In the village Filzbach, in which one arrives approx. in the half of the route, also the two-legged friend can eat well. It has several restaurants and a village shop where you can get something to eat. The view is really great. At the beginning of the route you can admire a part of the Glarnerland. From the halfway point you can see the beautiful Lake Walen in all its glory.
The whole route is well marked until you reach your destination, the Mühlehorn railway station.
