Küsnachter Tobel - circular route

With such hot temperatures we would like to explore a new gorge today. We can park on the big parking lot of the factory road in Küsnacht. From there we are already on the ravine path in the direction of the municipal administration. It is a dream. Wildly romantic and hidden there are everywhere refreshment possibilities and places to stay. There are also great barbecue spots right next to the stream and even if there are people from time to time, there are plenty of places to stay. For families with children or just a summer cooling off, for everyone is taken care of here.

We then go on to the castle ruin Wulp over the Vitaparcour to the Heslibach. The view of Lake Zurich is fantastic. The brook is almost dried up but Kaya still finds a possibility to refresh herself. From here we could also continue to the Pfannenstil and make this walk a day hike. However, on this hot summer day we enjoy the shade in the forest and decide on the way back.

Since we arrived by car we have to return to the car via the local roads. It would be more comfortable to travel by public transport now, because the sun heats up the ground.

A wonderful place in the immediate vicinity of the city of Zurich.
