Lavertezzo-Sonogno Val Verzasca

We were lucky. And got a PP in Poss. Shortly before Lavertezzo. So we could change to the other side of the Verzasca, away from the traffic.

A varied path. Sometimes roots, sometimes more stones, with always nice viewpoints to the stream, the trail winds through the valley. Sometimes the Verzasca is just a normal stream and then these beautiful bays follow again and again.

In the section between Lavertezzo and Brione, there are always places to sit and relax (for the younger ones 🚶♂️there are even some marble runs). So also suitable for families with child and dog. The corresponding wooden ball can be obtained in the valley.

Shortly before Brione it's time to change sides in the valley. From there on it seems that you have to reckon with grazing animals on some parts. Until Frasco there are some short bridges.

seasonally conditioned, I had directly on the main way enough water places for the dogs. In Frasco one changes over a grid suspension bridge again the valley side. And there I had also snow, because this piece still gets little sun.

To get to Sonogno, another lattice bridge follows.

If I should do this hike again, I would therefore end the hike in Frasco next time.

The whole way you can always get on the bus, so only parts are possible.

Tired satisfied we returned then with the bus again to our car.
