Nadine and Agnes with Nemesis (from 16.10.18):

We started our hike at the car park in Brülisau where the cable car to the Hoher Kasten starts. However, we walked along the road in the direction of Pfannenstiel to reach the small cable car Alpsiegel. Partly this cable car is operated, partly you have to operate the cable car yourself. (Dogs go up at a price of 5.- CHF.)
Arrived at the top we made a detour to the barbecue area on the Alpsiegel summit to get a view. Afterwards we walked comfortably over the beautiful alp and then zigzagged down through the forest and back up the rock to the breathtaking Fälensee. There we had lunch in the restaurant Bollenwees before we started our way back home.
A pleasant descent over meadows and forest paths past the Sämtisersee, which had almost no water left, the mountain inn Plattenbödeli and restaurant Ruhesitz. At which a hiking trail leads down, back to the parking lot in Brülisau.

A wonderful hike where we could often let our Nemesis run free because it was very clear. On weekdays you are lucky to be almost alone, but on sunny weekends these paths are very busy.
