Napoleon Tower circular route

The start begins right at the forest parking lot near the Hotel Golfpanorama and is signposted in both directions. About 5 minutes after the start, the path leads through Wolfstobel over a small wooden bridge, through the pleasant, cool forest. (About 200 years ago, churchgoers used the former church path to attend church services in Lipperswil). The route then alternates between dirt road and hard surface and the signposted route crosses country roads and leads through forest sections and small villages. After Helsighausen, it's not long before the tall Napoleon Tower emerges from behind the trees. Once we reach the tower, we take a break. If you want, you can find out more about its history, climb the countless steps and enjoy the view from the top. Well fortified, we continue our tour. The route continues comfortably along a natural road and hard surface. At the barbecue site in Äglisholz before Hattenhausen, dry firewood is provided and invites you to linger. We continue on and arrive back at the forest parking lot where our cars are parked. The whole circular route proves to be an easy, leisurely tour and is more suitable for cooler hours on hot days.
