Rougemont-Château-d'Oex

Directly from our Reka-Dog accommodation in Rougemont, this two-hour trip takes us along the Sarine to Château-d'Oex.

The hike is mainly on a wide side road, which makes this route also suitable for prams. About 500 metres after the church (first bridge over the Seraine), there is a barbecue area in the woods, which invites you to linger.

The route can also be shortened or extended at will, as every larger village has a railway station (some of them require a stop).

We walked all the way to Château d'Oex, as this place with its inevitable sights (e.g. balloon museum and temple) invites you to discover.
