Buchegg Castle - Gächliwil - Buchegg Castle

We started at Buchegg Castle. The hike led us first through the picturesque Mülital along the Mülibach stream and over pretty bridges. The flyer 3rd Solothurn Forest Hike describes all the information boards on this beautiful circular hike. I can highly recommend the whole hike. But it can also be shortened. Today we cut through Mühledorf and stopped at Gasthof Kreuz, dogs are welcome. Our short cut is only possible on Sundays along the main road. On other weekdays we would rather recommend the shortcut on the flyer. Strengthened we returned to the route at the Wolftürli. On the last section we could overlook the whole Limpachtal and afterwards we could rest on a nice wooden bench.
