Tramelan-St.Imier

Today was the 3rd stage of the Bernese Jura Trail (Route 91). We start right at the Tramelan station, which we quickly lose sight of. After the sports field there is a gentle ascent between green meadows, into the cool forest. Shortly afterwards we are back on the beautiful, typical Jura meadows that look like a park. Here we first enjoy the silence and nobody is to be seen far and wide. On the way to Mont Crosin and Mont Soleil we are always accompanied by the impressive windmills, which are not disturbing at all. In between, we of course also have a look to the Chasseral. On the Mont Soleil, some cosy barbecue places invite us to stay where we also have a rest and strengthen ourselves. Afterwards, we continue in direction to Saint Imier to the train station. Those who want can get into the cog railway at the Mont Soleil or have a walk downstairs. As there is no official leash obligation on the whole route, but a lot of grazing, I keep my dog on a leash. For us personally the 3 stage is the most beautiful so far.
