Cherkish - Arosa

With overcast sky we started the tour comfortably. Quickly gaining height we came out above the tree line. We could avoid a single herd of cattle well. Afterwards no more pastures with cows followed. I think they were already on the higher situated Alps. Despite the cloudy sky, we had good visibility. At the well visited Ochsenalp we allowed ourselves a short break before we started the last ascent. And then towards Arosa. A nice tour with wider paths. In the middle of summer, however, it is rather recommended when the sky is overcast.

(And who would like to have it even more sporty. Can plan the first stage of the Schanfigger Höhenweg in Chur even before that (as we had done) So we add another 8km incl. 600⬆️und 100⬇️, on partly very narrow paths.

More tips: Since public transport is needed, park your car. And drive to the starting point. Disadvantage, in Tschiertschen it would be free parking. Advantage: better time planning
