From the centre of the village Unterwasser you walk 10 minutes to the Thur waterfalls. This natural spectacle can be observed from the stream bed, but also from above. A tunnel in the rock leads the visitor 23 metres up to the top, where you can stay right at the source of the waterfall and feel the wetness on your own body.

The route continues along the Säntisthur via the Laui to the Älpli. The hike continues through the forest up to Alp Gamplüt, where you have a wonderful view of the opposite side of the valley or the Churfirsten.
Before taking the first solar-powered cable car, scooters or on foot down to Wildhaus, you can take a break at the Gamplüt mountain inn. From Wildhaus it is then back to Unterwasser
