Swiss Path - from Seedorf to Isleten and back

We start this easy and very beautiful hike in Seedorf, where we park our car in a public parking lot. The route first runs along the road for a bit. We soon reach the "Cradle of Switzerland" at the photo spot "Seemätteli" in Seedorf. Here I realize once again what beautiful places Switzerland has to offer. The view over the Lake of Uri to Brunnen is simply beautiful.

The path leads straight ahead without any significant incline to Isleten. A few sections you walk along the road, most of the time on a wide path directly on the shore of Lake Lucerne. There are several resting places, picnic and barbecue areas along the way. In summer there is little shade, but the possibility to cool down in the lake.

Arrived in Isleten we enjoy our brought picnic at the bathing place. Afterwards, of course, a cool drink and an ice cream for the kids is obligatory. In the restaurant Beachhouse in Isleten we get our money's worth. A very comfortably furnished terrace and friendly hosts welcome us on the shore of the Lake of Uri.

We march back along the same path. Of course, the route can be extended at will or combined with a boat trip.
