Livia with Kaya and Steffi with Quinto (from 25.08.19):

It's going to be up to 28 degrees, so we take the 08.30 train. This is also recommended for this hike, because the first part of the hike goes along the road without protection.

Actually, we planned at "Bruch" already again the return way (total approx. 2 hours), however, the dreamlike panorama in the morning sun moved us to go on. Along the Chrauchbach to Unterstafel. From here the path crosses with the possibility to hike up to Flumerserberg (e.g. via Spitzmeilen). We decide to take the circular walk and cross the stream.

An easy, pleasant ascent on a cool forest path then leads us through the Bruchrunenwald. Via Stigerberg we walk back to the top station where we treat ourselves to a cool panache in the restaurant "Wirtschaft zum Weissenberg". By the way, there are also two double rooms here (summer and winter) where dogs are welcome.

We are already looking forward to the reunion!

- Dogs from members travel here free of charge

- Nature reserve: Dogs must be kept on a leash in designated areas.

- General rules Canton Glarus: Dogs must be kept on a leash in the forest and at forest edges.
