Livia with Kaya and Nathalie with Indira (from 30.05.20):

We park our cars along the creek on the official and free parking lots. Here you can also find the only Robidog.

Along the creek we follow the signs "Batöni to the suspension bridge". The whole area is under nature protection (many marmots seen), so we take it for granted that the dogs are kept on a leash.

The path climbs steeply and in the first 40 minutes we already manage 300 meters of altitude. At the double stone there is already the first possibility to let the first place of power take effect, but we are still drawn on.

As soon as the "Untere Lavtina" is reached, the pleasant hiking trail meanders downhill along the Gufelbach. Here the dogs can cool down again and again.

In the valley basin the rock walls pile up. We find a comfortable place for lunch and enjoy this wonderful atmosphere with breathtaking views before we start our way back on the same way.

Important: There are only a few sections which are not directly exposed to the sun, so leave very early on warm days or postpone it to cooler days (be careful of slipping or falling rocks after rain!). Good shoes are recommended and we were grateful for our walking sticks for the return trip ;-). We did not meet any cows today, but the fences were already put up.

Batöni Waterfall Arena: From left to right you have the Piltschina Falls, the Sässbach Falls and the Muttenbach Falls in front of you, which are 81, 86 and 45 metres long in this order. A little above the confluence of the three streams the Lavtina stream flows into the Piltschina stream and a little further below the Guetental stream into the Gufel stream.
