Wetzikon circular route

We started at the stadium of Wetzikon (10 minutes from the train station of Wetzikon, the suburban trains allow a ground level exit). Together with a great dog group of 7 dogs we used the 3.5 hour walk to chat, play and laugh. About halfway through the route, you can refresh yourself at a restaurant and use the restroom (step-free, but only regular restrooms).

The path is often asphalted, but also goes through the forest and a few climbs are inevitable (but well doable for motorized wheelchairs). The dogs have enough space, e.g. on fields, to romp around and roll around with pleasure. Also one meets again and again Bänkli, which offer an opportunity to the pause.

You briefly touch a nature reserve, but also otherwise the forest invites you to dream. The surroundings are quiet, sometimes you briefly encounter a stream or similar body of water. On the route you will find farm shops where you can buy pumpkins or walnuts, for example. The area is very rural and the surrounding mountains are clearly visible.

This route is good if you want to have a central starting and ending point, but still want to escape the city and get a taste of country air. There were two wheelchair users and both could manage the route without any problems.
