Arflina Berghaus - Winter hiking trail

Under a bright blue sky we board the transport bus at the sawmill in Fideris, which takes us to the Heubergen. In winter it is not allowed to drive with your own car, in summer a permit can be obtained (directly on site at the information desk).

The panorama here is simply fantastic! The path is marked tiptop and so we start our round trip. For the first few meters we walk along the ski lift (you have to wear a rope). Again and again we have to turn around to admire this panorama - simply top! After crossing the ski slope the path leads us towards Clun. Kaya has some trouble with her paws (too many icy lumps of snow at minus 10 degrees - next time I won't forget my boots), so we turn off below Clun and walk back towards the mountain lodge. Back in the dog-friendly mountain house (by the way, groups are also welcome) we warm up with a delicious lunch before we start the longest sledge run in Switzerland (12 km). We have taken another wonderful spot in Switzerland into our hearts and have definitely not been here for the last time ;-).
