Chemin des Laternes Crans Montana

In the midst of nature, just a few steps from the center, this path offers you pure winter magic: snow-covered trees and the crunching of snow underfoot offer a poetic spectacle in the nightly glow of the lanterns as soon as it gets dark.

Works of light art, magical performances, concerts and a treasure hunt enchant the lantern trail and ensure a fairytale time-out in the heart of Crans-Montana.

Walkers follow the flickering lanterns and discover new works that represent the four elements of our environment and the origin of life: Fire, Earth, Air and Water.

This walk celebrates the magic of winter and promises visitors a moment to take time out and immerse themselves in the beauty of nature thanks to the forces that unite us.

Dogs are only allowed on a lead.

From December 8, 2023 to March 3, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Access

Access to the Lantern Trail is only possible on foot. Caution: When there is little snow, the path can be very slippery! Remember to be well equipped and take extra care on the trail.

Tip for families: for your safety and that of your children, baby carriages are not permitted on the trail. Sledges and bobsleighs may not be used on the descents either.
