Flavia with Viva, Sandra with Irwina and Flower (from 10.10.23):
At 9.15 we started our tour to the Flüenseen. Through spruce forests the trail first led us along a wide road with little solid surface, before we walked through Val Faller towards Tga (in this valley you could also spend the night in Plang Faller ).
After about 2.5 km the trail branched off and became a narrow mountain path. At this point we still had some cattle on the pasture (during the alp season on this tour until about mid-September also mother cows are to be expected).
Height Tga, the first 4 km and 473 hm we had behind us (this could be shortened on Thursdays with the hiking bus ), it went in addition to the Walser hiking trail (which accompanied us since the start) also partly along the section Parc Ela, down into Val Bercla.
At the beginning quite comfortable (incl. a refreshment break for us 5) we left the spruces far behind us and followed the valley further, towards our highest point.
After approx. 8.5 km and 1113 hm the teamwork with the dogs was required. Across a decent scree field it was then not quite 1.5 km and just 300hm to cope.
Arrived at the top of the Fallerfurgga we enjoyed again the view on both sides, before it went for us first of all in the direction of Juf. Finally we wanted to see the upper Flüensee.
Now came the descent to the lower lakes. And there we enjoyed all together again a bigger Snäcki break.
Our next destination was the Stallerberg. Unusual when it goes down a mountain (here we also separated from the long-distance trails).
From here we went on the direct way towards Bivio. Also on this descent we enjoyed again and again the view.
Shortly after 17.00 o'clock we reached Bivio where we returned by bus to our cars.
A fantastic tour for people who love the seclusion. We met only 16 people on the way. Self-sufficiency is a matter of course on this route. We had again and again brooks on the way, but whether these always lead water we cannot judge.
Our tip: If you want to stop for a bite to eat at the end, you might want to park in Bivio and take the public transport down first. This way you don't have to keep to the timetable ;-))
Important: Scree experience with the dog is an advantage. Especially if you want to run the route in reverse.
