Oberaargau circular hike

We park our car on a free parking lot at the end of Lotzwil.

Afterwards we start our circular hike in the burger community of Lotzwil towards the forester's lodge. The trail leads us through a beautiful lush forest with many tall trees. In summer I think it is nice and cool here. At the Lotzwil forester's house there is a great barbecue place and a well (I don't know if it always has water) and also nice wooden figures. There is a special forest spirit and figure trail, more information on the Oberaargau Tourism homepage. Our path leads us to the edge of a forest with a view of Busswil near Melchnau. Here there is a nice bench to rest a while. When we come back into the forest, the path around the Rappechopf leads us back to our starting point. The route is hardly visited during the week. We think on the weekend we have it however surely many people. In Lotzwil there is a restaurant.
