Scenic hike off the beaten track

The public car park "SpringenbodenE is a bit below the restaurant. From here you follow the path "Meiefallseeli" along the tarred road (expect few cars) up to "Widbodme", where the route continues on a wide gravel path. From here you can stay on the well-maintained path until the "Undere Meiefall" (small detour), or follow the mountain hiking trail. Afterwards, a trail leads up to the beautiful turquoise-coloured Meiefallseeli, which lies in the middle of the mountain world. Here we take a break and enjoy the peace and quiet, the warm sunshine and the fantastic views. Afterwards we go back on the same way. If you like, you can stop at the restaurant "Springenboden".

There is no official leash requirement, but since grazing cows and horses must be expected along the entire route, I keep Indira on a leash until the "Undere Meiefall" and then let her run free until the lake. It is advisable to take the route from mid-September, as there are no more grazing cows on the alp at the top of the lake.
