Surava circular route

A large PP is available right at the start. Over the bridge on the right side there are information boards and brochures to take along, or you can download the app.
A short stretch at the beginning follows the Albula on a wide path, before it then goes onto the mountain path. It is always worth to have a look back, because there are always bizarre rock towers.

There is also a barbecue area on the ascent part, shade and sunny spots alternate.

At Crap Furo (No.5) I would not climb the viewpoint again (with backpack and dog). Very slippery gravel, steep and in the upper part of the path hardly anything to hold on to.

Then it went on on narrow paths. The last part you follow the Albula again on a wide path to the starting point, also on this part there is again a barbecue place.

Water points at the beginning and at the end of the tour. Even my non-Zughund Mirko was glad on the way that I always had water on me ;-).

A great mountain hike, which I will certainly do again soon.
