Peist ski house Hochwang-Arflina Furgga

We started at 7.30 a.m. and experienced a beautiful sunrise (few parking spaces available at the end of the village "Peist"). After 1 km it started to crunch under our shoes - just great. On a quite clear way, which is announced as a winter hiking trail as well as a toboggan run, we went comfortably towards our first destination, the ski house Hochwang. There we allowed the dogs and us a break and got into conversation with the host.

On my question if dogs are allowed to stay overnight here, I got a spontaneous yes (*freud!).

After the break we started on the high trail towards Fideriser Heuberge.

Panorama just wow - again and again we had to take breaks to enjoy it.

At the highest point, Arflinafurgga, we said goodbye to Schanfigger Tal
and changed over to Prättigau. The descent to the Fideriser Heuberge was on the agenda.

The last part we crossed on ski slopes and a lift (I would put dogs on a leash there).

And if you still haven't had enough, you can toboggan down there :-).

It is important to prepare well for the tour, because the bus "Fideris Fideriser Heuberge" has only a reduced schedule in the afternoon.
