Lake Lauenen with Hanibal

Start is at Hotel Alpenland on the right side of the road. In winter there is little traffic, only occasionally and maybe a tractor. The road is snow covered. It is signposted to the Lauenensee. Shortly after the lake turn right to the Beitzli Mattenstübli. The Schoggikuchen is a dream! To return, turn right from the Mattenstübli back down the road. In winter there is a driving ban and the dogs can run free here too. You can also start the hike from the Hotel Alpenland on the left, but in winter you walk in the shade a lot. Of course there are other ways to the Lauenensee, but we have a small dog and have to make sure that he doesn't disappear in the snow.
