After an adventurous drive through (!) the dam wall of the Lago dei Luzzone and a very narrow tunnel we started early in the morning from the parking lot at the end of the drivable road along the Bacino di Carassinos. Through light woods one quickly reaches the beautiful ridge between Val Benio and Val di Carassino. Over the initially steep ridge, one quickly gains height and is constantly surprised by new, magnificent views. Once the height is reached, one walks in a pleasant up-and-down direction towards the Adula hut. Over a few short climbing sections we have secured Zorro with a rope. The way back to the car leads along the cool Ri di Carassino where the dog can cool down at any time.
