Langis circular hike

The hike starts right at the Berghotel Langis right next to the large parking lot. The parking meters were out of order, so we didn't have to pay anything.
We follow the left signpost towards Jänzi.
The route leads past the mountain restaurant Schwendi-Kaltbad, which is marked with a beautiful chapel. Then we continue along the water, over small wooden bridges, through flat beautiful moor landscapes which are of national importance. Again and again small resting places invite you to stay and have a barbecue. Through beautiful fir forests and blueberry bushes you will reach the lookout point Jänzi, with the impressive summit cross. Up here, a magnificent panorama of the Central Swiss mountains, Lake Sarnen and part of Lake Lungern awaits you. Here we take a break and enjoy the wonderful warm sun rays. Well strengthened, we make our way back across alpine pastures that are no longer occupied. Below the alp Wolfetsmatt-Hohnegg the path continues on asphalted road, partly through the forest until shortly before the pass road. There, a narrow natural path branches off to the right and winds along above the road, back to the parking lot. It is recommended to wear good, waterproof shoes and to complete the route during the week.
