From 05.05.18 - 08.05.18, Kaya and Nemesis were invited as reporters from Reka-Dog Switzerland to Rougemont near Gstaad.
Rougemont is nestled in a pre-alpine landscape at 1007 m above sea level at the very top of the Vaud holiday region of Pays-d'Enhaut. Typical for Rougemont are the decorated chalets where we stayed for these days. The house is centrally located and in the immediate vicinity there is a grocery store (open daily) as well as the train station. A large garden with a barbecue invites you to end the day outside after great walks. For these days we have parked our car in the underground car park, because the guest card of Gstaad allows us bipeds to explore the surroundings of Château-d'Oex up to Zweisimmen for free. Dogs are free of charge on the mountain railways, the train costs the half price (SBB rules: depending on the size of the dog free of charge). Whether summer or winter, the destination of Gstaad offers a wide range of leisure activities. More than a thousand cultural and sporting events are available to guests every year. With Kaya and Nemesis, we concentrated on the beautiful mountain world during the four days (see hiking suggestions).
