In the midst of an impressive alpine scenery, 20 kilometres before the Gotthard tunnel, lies the Gotthard service area. Not only because of its beautiful location in the Swiss Alps and its proximity to Lake Lucerne, famous from the Tell saga, but also because of its modern and spacious architecture, clean furnishings and cosy atmosphere, the Gotthard Rest Stop is popular with travellers and commuters beyond the region.
